Checking US Foods Blocked Orders
Each day at 1:15 pm and 3:15 pm we check to see if US Foods orders are Blocked for certain Organizations.
The orders are Blocked because the Pop-Up Blocker on the person’s computer is not turned off and the order is Blocked from being sent over to US Foods.
If an order is Blocked, we will have to check on the US Foods website to see if they received the order.
If the order does not show on the US Foods website, we will have to Resubmit the Order and send the person who placed the order instructions on how to turn off their Pop-Up Blocker and send the Order Confirmation.
If an order shows as Blocked in Procurement Partners, but does show on the US Foods website, we will NOT have to Resubmit the order.
We have a Client Services Calendar reminder in Microsoft Outlook with a list of Organizations to check blocked order for along with the US Foods website login credentials.
- Open the US Foods Calendar reminder in the Client Services Calendar in Outlook.

- Login into the first Organization listed which is ADD.

- When you are logged in, go to Transactions and Order Resubmit.
- Change the Status from All to Blocked and click Search.

- This will bring up all the Blocked Orders.
- You are looking for any Blocked Orders that show up the previous day after 3:15 pm until now.
- If there aren’t any Blocked Orders that appear or the dates are before 3:15 pm the previous day, we don’t have to do anything and move on to the next Organization and follow the same process (Transaction – Order Resubmit – Blocked Status).
- If there is Blocked Order, when you check to see if the Order is on the US Foods website, make sure you select the correct Location and “View All Orders”.

- Some Order Numbers are too long and get cut off on the US Foods Website so click on the order for the full Order Number. Listed below is an example.

- The end number "47" got cut off.
- If you click on the Order it will show the full Order Number.

- If an order shows as Blocked and does not show on the US Foods website or shows on the US Foods website but says Not Submitted under Open Orders, we will Resubmit the order.

- To Re-Submit an Order you will have to be on the Order Resubmit screen and click on the Order, then click the Submit button.

- Wait for the US Foods Confirmation screen to appear. Once the Confirmation screen appears login into US Foods for that Organization and search for that Location and you should see the Order Number.
- After we see the Order on the US Foods website we will want to find out which user tried submitting the Order by pasting the Order Number on the Orders screen.
- When you paste the Order Number and click Search it will the list the person’s Username who placed the Order.

- Copy the Username and go to Security – Users and paste the Username.
- This will give the person’s full name and their email address so you can email them that their order did go through because their pop up blocker is turned on and that you resubmitted the order for them.

- Save a copy of Order on the US Foods website by clicking the Order and click the Print button.

- Create a Cayzu ticket and email the person the Order Confirmation and Instructions on how to Turn Off their Pop-Up Blocker. There is already a Quick Response for US Foods called “USF Resubmit” you can use in Cayzu when you create a new Cayzu ticket.
- Check the other Organizations listed on the Calendar.
- When all Organizations have been checked, delete the Calendar event for the time/day.
