There is a guide on Dropbox we used to send users called 'Reset Password' that we would send users so they could reset the password themselves.
Unfortunately, the password is case sensitive and many of our users do not know how to copy and paste the password, so we reset the password for them.
Follow the steps below to reset a password for a user:
- Find out what Organization they are with and what Username they use
- Log into their Organization on the Buyer portal and go to Security > Users to locate their user profile
- Copy their email address and paste it in the 'Comments' section

- Enter your email address in the Email section and click the Save button then Reset Password.

- Clicking Reset Password will send the new Password to your Outlook email address. The email will come from notification@procurementpartners.com

- Passwords can be delayed and may not always be sent to your email right away. Sometimes this may take 10-15 minutes. Normally it takes around 1-2 minutes.
- Once you receive the new password, you will want to log into the Organization with the person's Username. For this example, we will login with Beckie's Company ID of BMHC and her Username 'Beckie'.
- Next, copy and paste the password you received in the email
It should look like this:

- After you click 'Sign In', you will now be logged in as Beckie
- To change the password, go to 'Profile' and click on 'Change Password'

- Enter in the password that you received in the Outlook email as the 'Current Password'
- In the 'New Password' and 'Confirm New Password' fields, type in a simple password such as 'winter', 'spring', 'summer', etc. The new password has to be at least 6 characters long

- After you have changed the password, log back into Organization with your support ID and locate the user (Security > Users)
- Remove your email from the 'Email' section
- Remove the user's email address from the 'Comments' section and paste it back into the 'Email' section and click 'Save'

- Now that you have changed the person's password, send them a Cayzu ticket with their new password. There is a Quick Response in Cayzu called 'PW Reset Completed by CS' that you can use which will provide them with instructions on logging in with their new password
